What this policy covers
This policy explains how we collect and use personal data submitted through our waiting list sign-up form. It covers the NFK Digital Free Membership Programme and any related email communications we send to waiting list subscribers.
What data we collect
Through the waiting list form we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your country
- Information you provide about your business
We do not collect payment details, sensitive personal data, or any information from third-party sources.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We use your data for two distinct purposes, each with its own legal basis under UK GDPR:
Waiting list management
To assess your application and notify you if you are selected for a free membership place. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — specifically, running the selection process for the programme you have applied to join.
Marketing communications
To send you content about micro-business marketing, NFK Digital Ltd services, and programme updates while you are on the waiting list. Our lawful basis is consent. You must actively tick the marketing checkbox on the form to receive these emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep your data
- If you are not selected within 12 months of submitting the form, we will delete your data unless you have consented to ongoing marketing, in which case we will ask you to reconfirm your interest.
- If you are selected for the programme, we will retain relevant data for the duration of your membership and for up to 2 years afterwards for administrative purposes.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@nfkdigital.com.
How we store and protect your data
Form responses are stored securely within Google Forms and Google Workspace, which are covered by Google’s data processing terms. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except where strictly necessary to operate our services (e.g. our email platform). Any third-party processors we use are contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions and in accordance with UK GDPR.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw marketing consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

Cookies
This privacy policy page does not use tracking cookies. The Google Form is subject to Google’s own cookie and privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
